Neighbors 4 Neighbors Adopt A Family
This program gives families going through struggles and disappointment a reason to smile during the holidays. We encourages all of our employees to participate in the program by donating food, clothing and/or making cash donations.
Last year, Accentmarketing met a local family in need (a single mom raising five boys) and extended our support to them throughout the entire year. 2008 also marked the third year we have participated in the Adopt A Family program.

AHA Start! ℠ Heartwalk ®
Start! ℠ Heartwalk ® is the American Heart Association’s premiere fund-raising event. It’s designed to promote physical activity and heart healthy living in an environment that’s fun for the whole family.
Each year a team of Accentmarketing employees, joined by family and friends, take part in this worthwhile event. In 2008, participants gathered at Miami’s Tropical Park on October 11th for this 5K walk event, which raised over $523,000.

Childhood Asthma PSA Campaign
In partnership with the Ad Council, the EPA is developing a new Childhood Asthma PSA campaign as part of their commitment to educating the public about asthma, how the environment can affect asthma sufferers and managing environmental triggers.
In collaboration with Campbell-Ewald Detroit, we are developing a new PSA campaign which will launch in late 2009. The Hispanic campaign elements will be designed to motivate parents of asthmatic children to take action.

Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run
Since 2005, Accentmarketing has been participating in TeamFootWorks’ Corporate Run, a 3.1 mile road race/walk open to employees of corporations, government agencies and financial institutions. All levels of runners are welcomed.
The sole beneficiary of the Mercedes Benz Corporate Run is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, whose mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, myeloma and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

Humane Society of Greater Miami
The Humane Society is dedicated to ending pet overpopulation by providing quality adoption and low-cost spay/neuter services. Accentmarketing works on a pro-bono basis with them to help raise awareness of this problem in the Greater Miami area.
We are currently developing a PSA campaign for Humane Society that will run in 2009. Employees are encouraged to help this worthy cause by donating used/new animals items, such as leashes, toys and food to help those animals in the shelter.
