Group Account Director
- Elsa joined Accentmarketing in 2002 and currently serves as Group Account Director. During her 11 years of advertising and marketing experience she has developed and implemented programs in Mexico, the Caribbean and the US Hispanic market. Current client work includes the US Navy, Alltel Wireless, Chevrolet and Farmer’s Insurance. Previous experience includes a strong background in the spirits category working with brands such as Chivas Regal, Dewar’s 12 Finest Scotch Whisky, Johnnie Walker Black Label, Johnnie Walker Red Label, Dos Equis, Sol and Tecate.
- Prior to joining Accent, Elsa worked for The Marketing Store Worldwide where she learned the “ins and outs” of below the line, experiential marketing. Client experience includes Nestlé Leche Evaporada, Shell Oil, and Western Union.
- Mrs. Arend is a native of Baltimore, MD, graduated from American University in Washington, DC in 1998 with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. Studies also include a one year exchange program in Monterrey, Mexico with the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
- Elsa enjoys weight training, running, going to the beach with her husband Tait, dancing, her Maltese dogs Yodi and Cody, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
